181. Joseph H.⁶ Hebard Jr. (Hester Jane⁵ West, Margaret Ann⁴ Smith, Elizabeth Ker³ Scarburgh, Jean² Ker, Edward¹)⁽¹³⁷⁰⁾ was born in Pungoteague, Acc Co, VA 1866.⁽¹³⁷¹⁾ Joseph died 1947 at 81 years of age.⁽¹³⁷²⁾ His body was interred in Onancock Cem, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹³⁷³⁾

He married Mary C. Walker circa 1890.⁽¹³⁷⁴⁾ Mary was born 1870 in Pungoteague, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹³⁷⁵⁾ Mary⁽¹³⁷⁶⁾ was the daughter of Henry Custis Walker and Margaret E. Doughty. Mary died 1945 at 75 years of age.⁽¹³⁷⁷⁾ Her body was interred in Onancock Cem, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹³⁷⁸⁾ Her tombstone shows her as Mary C. Hebard.

Joseph was listed with his parents in the census of 1880 in Pungoteague Dist, Bay Side, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹³⁷⁹⁾ He was shown as Joseph H. Hebard, age 13 and farming in a household headed by Joseph H. Hebard, a 41 year old teacher.

As a young man, Jospeh Jr. kept store at Pungoteague, and later was associated with mercitile establishments at Onley and Parksley. About a quarter of a century ago (since 1934) he and family moved to Baltimore, where they have since resided, and where he has been associated with the Baltimore Bargain House, and its successors, jobbers to merchants.⁽¹³⁸⁰⁾

Joseph H. Hebard Jr. and Mary C. Walker had the following child:

Cecelia lived circa 1934 in Philadelphia, PA.⁽¹³⁸⁵⁾
