Her body was interred in Onancock Cem, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁰⁰⁸⁾ Her tombstone shows her as Hester J. Hebard, wife of Joseph H. Hebard.

She married Prof. Joseph Henry Hebard 6 Jan 1863 (lic) in Worcester Co, MD.⁽¹⁰⁰⁹⁾ They were shown only as Joseph H. Hebard and Hester J. West. No other information was given.

Joseph was born 22 Sep 1838 in Fluvanna Co, VA.⁽¹⁰¹⁰⁾ Joseph⁽¹⁰¹¹⁾ was the son of Rev. Edward Hebard and Julia Ann Seay. Hester was listed with her husband in the census of 1880 in Pungoteague Dist, Bay Side, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁰¹⁶⁾ She was shown as Hester J. Hebard, age 35 in a household headed by Joseph H. Hebard, a 41 year old teacher.

Hester was listed with her husband in the census of 1910 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹⁰¹⁷⁾ She was shown as Hester J. Hebard, age 67 in a household headed by William L. Harper, a 40 year old produce agent. Also listed was Joseph H. Hebard Sr., age 71, who was her husband.

Edward was listed with his parents in the census of 1880 in Pungoteague Dist, Bay Side, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁰²²⁾ He was shown as Edward Hebard, a 16 year old dry goods clerk in a household headed by Joseph H. Hebard, a 41 year old teacher.

Ned wrote a letter to his mother from Oregon about his father appointment as Principal of the Mappsville School, praising his record. On 12 Jun 1908 his parents received notice that their eldest son, had died just 7 days after sending the letter. The remains of Edward Hebard arrived at Onley Station on Wednesday, 19 Jun 1908.⁽¹⁰²³⁾

Copes, a 28 year old farmer, the son of William T. & Susan A. Copes and she was shown as Bessie K. Hebard, age 23, the daughter of Joseph H. Sr. & Esther Hebard.

Thomas was born 8 Dec 1872 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹⁰³⁰⁾ Thomas⁽¹⁰³¹⁾ was the son of William T. Copes and Arinthia Susan 'Sue' Nock. Thomas died 31 Oct 1950 at 77 years of age.⁽¹⁰³²⁾ He established a hardware and lumber business in Onley which he operated until his death in 1950.

His body was interred in Mt. Holly Cem, Onancock, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁰³³⁾

Julia West Hebard⁽¹⁰³⁵⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA 1880.⁽¹⁰³⁶⁾ Julia died 1958 at 78 years of age.⁽¹⁰³⁷⁾ Her body was interred in Liberty Cem, Parksley, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁰³⁸⁾ Her tombstone shows her as Julia H. Parks, the 2nd wife of Otho T. Parks. She married Otho Thomas Parks 6 Oct 1921 in New Church, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁰³⁹⁾ He was shown as Otho Thomas Parks, a 46 year old widowed farmer, born in Acc Co and living in Onancock, the son of George P. & Elizabeth Parks and she was shown as Julia West Hebard, age 41 and single, born in Acc Co and living in Onley, the daughter of Joseph H. & Hester J. Hebard.

Otho was born 1875 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹⁰⁴⁰⁾ Otho⁽¹⁰⁴¹⁾ was the son of George Parker Parks and Elizabeth P. Grinnalds.
