Membership in Ghotes

When you join or subscribe to the Ghotes e-mail list server, you are considered a member of Ghotes. Other than that we do not have an official or formal membership. The Ghotes web site is open to everyone at no cost. Our conferences are open to everyone, but we do have to charge a small fee just to cover the cost of the conference. If you are doing genealogy or history research about the Eastern shore of Virginia you could consider yourself an unofficial member of Ghotes. Our objective is to help everyone with their research and love of the Eastern shore of Virginia.
