65. Catherine C.⁴ Ames (Margaret Blair³ Christian, Catharine² Ker, Edward¹)⁽⁷¹⁵⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA 15 Apr 1806.⁽⁷¹⁶⁾ Catherine died 25 Apr 1840 at 34 years of age.⁽⁷¹⁷⁾

She married George S. Mapp 11 May 1829 (bond) in Accomack Co, VA.⁽⁷¹⁸⁾ Abel Edwards was the security on the M.L.B. of George S. Mapp, widower, and Catherine C. Ames of Zoro. Another record from this source shows they were married on 13 May 1829.

George was born circa 1807 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽⁷¹⁹⁾ George⁽⁷²⁰⁾ was the son of Howson Mapp III and Sally Smith. George died 15 Apr 1868 at 60 years of age.⁽⁷²¹⁾ He died in his 63rd year.

Catherine was named in her father's will 3 Dec 1809 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽⁷²²⁾ She was shown as a daughter Catharine Ames in the will of Zorobabel Ames.

Catherine C. Ames and George S. Mapp had the following children:
