Boggs, wife of Levi R. Boggs and daughter of Geo. S. & Catherine C. Mapp.

She married Levi Rogers Boggs 5 Jan 1854 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹¹⁶⁹⁾ He was shown as Levi R. Boggs the son of James Boggs and she was shown as Hester A. Mapp, the daughter of Geo. S. Mapp. They were married by J.H. Addison. Turman's marriage book shows 26 Dec 1853, which may have been the license.

Levi was born 6 Jan 1825 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹¹⁷⁰⁾ Levi⁽¹¹⁷¹⁾ was the son of James S. Boggs and Elizabeth P. Rogers. Levi died 5 Nov 1911 at 86 years of age.⁽¹¹⁷²⁾ His body was interred in Rodgers Cem, Crockett Town, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹¹⁷³⁾ His tombstone shows him as Levi R. Boggs, husband of Hester A. Boggs.

Hester was listed with her husband in the census of 1860 in Locust Mount PO, St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹¹⁷⁵⁾ She was shown as Hester A. Boggs, age 25 in HH#926 headed by Levi R. Boggs, a 35 year old farmer.

Hester was listed with her husband in the census of 1870 in Locust Mount PO, St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹¹⁷⁶⁾ She was shown as Esther A. Boggs, a 38 year old house keeper in HH#LM703 headed by Levi R. Boggs, a 45 year old farmer.

Hester was listed with her husband in the census of 1880 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹¹⁷⁷⁾ She was shown as E.A. Boggs, a 37 year old wife and house keeper in a household headed by L.B. Boggs, a 55 year old farmer.

Hester Adelaide Mapp and Levi Rogers Boggs had the following children:

Holly Cem, Onancock, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹¹⁸⁰⁾ He married Mary S. Bull 20 Jan 1903 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹¹⁸¹⁾ He was shown as George U. Boggs, a 35 year old merchant, the son of Levi R. & Hester A. Boggs, and she was shown as Mary S. Bull, age 22, the daughter of James R. & Alice L. Bull.

Mary was born 1880 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹¹⁸²⁾ Mary⁽¹¹⁸³⁾ was the daughter of James R. Bull and Alice Lee Stockley.

Strang and she was shown as Levi M. Boggs, age 28, the daughter of Levi R. & Hester A. Boggs.
