Catherine Rose 'Kate'⁶ Finney (Margaret Sarah⁵ Mapp, Catherine C.⁴ Ames, Margaret Blair³ Christian, Catharine² Ker, Edward¹)⁽¹⁴⁰⁵⁾ was born in Cashville, Acc Co, VA 13 Oct 1850.⁽¹⁴⁰⁶⁾ Catherine died 10 Jul 1903 at 52 years of age.⁽¹⁴⁰⁷⁾ Her body was interred in Fairview Lawn Cem, Onancock, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁴⁰⁸⁾ Her tombstone shows her as Kate Rose Lofland, wife of Dr. J.H.A. Lofland, who died on 10 Jul 1903 at the age of 54 years, 8 months and 27 days.

She married twice. She married Edwin Thomas Waters Sr. 29 May 1872 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹⁴⁰⁹⁾ He was shown as Edwin T. Waters, a 26 year old sailor, the son of Wm. C. & Mar't Waters and she was shown as Catharine R. Finney, age 22, the daughter of Wm. B. & Marg't Finney. They were married at St. James Church by O. Littleton.

Edwin was born 2 Jan 1845 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹⁴¹⁰⁾ Edwin⁽¹⁴¹¹⁾ was the son of William Corbin Waters and Margaret A. Boggs. Edwin died 12 May 1875 at 30 years of age.⁽¹⁴¹²⁾ His body was interred in Leatherbury-Waters Cem, Cashville, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁴¹³⁾ His tombstone shows him as Edwin T. Waters, son of Wm. C. & Marg't W. Waters, who died on 12 May 1875 at the age of 30 years, 4 months and 10 days.

She married Dr. James H.A. Lofland 2 Oct 1879 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹⁴¹⁴⁾ He was shown as Jas. H.A. Lofland, a 30 year old single physician, born & living in Acc Co, the son of Alfred & Cassie Lofland and she was shown as Catharine R. Waters, a 28 year old widow, the daughter of Wm. & Marg't Finney. They were married at Geo. S. Mapp's by J.C. Watson.

James was born 15 Sep 1849 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹⁴¹⁵⁾ James⁽¹⁴¹⁶⁾ was the son of Alfred Lofland and Cassandra West 'Cassy' Scarburgh. James died 29 Feb 1932 at 82 years of age.⁽¹⁴¹⁷⁾ His body was interred in Fairview Lawn Cem, Onancock, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁴¹⁸⁾ His tombstone shows him as James H.A. Lofland, MD, husband of Kate Rose Lofland.

Catherine was listed with her parents in the census of 1860 in Pungoteague PO, St.George Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁴¹⁹⁾ She was shown as Kate Finney, age 9 in HH#1179 headed by William Finney, a 42 year old farmer.

Catherine was listed with her parents in the census of 1870 in Locust Mount PO, St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁴²⁰⁾ She was shown as Kate R. Finney, age 19 in HH#LM908 headed by William Finney, age 50 and farming.

Catherine was listed with her husband in the census of 1880 in Pungoteague Dist, Bay Side, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁴²¹⁾ She was shown as Kate R. Lofland, a 29 year old wife and keeping house in a household headed by James H. Lofland, a 30 year old physician. Also listed was Edwin T. Waters, a 5 year old step-son, who was her son by a prior marriage to Edwin T. Waters Sr.

Thomas Waters, husband of Tibbie J. Waters. He married Tabitha Polk 'Tibbie' Joynes 29 Nov 1900 in Baltimore, MD.⁽¹⁴²⁶⁾

Tabitha was born 11 Oct 1880 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹⁴²⁷⁾ Tabitha died 6 Apr 1971 in Onancock, Acc Co, VA, at 90 years of age.⁽¹⁴²⁸⁾ Her body was interred in Onancock Cem, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁴²⁹⁾ Her tombstone shows her as Tibbie J. Waters, wife of E. Thomas Waters.

Edwin was listed with his mother in the census of 1880 in Pungoteague Dist, Bay Side, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁴³⁰⁾ He was shown as Edwin T. Waters, a 5 year old step-son in a household headed by James H. Lofland, a 30 year old physician. Also listed was Kate R. Lofland, age 29 and keeping house, who was evidently his mother. He was born in VA, his father was born in MD and his mother was born in VA.

Cecil Alfred Lofland⁽¹⁴³³⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA 10 Jun 1881.⁽¹⁴³⁴⁾ Cecil died 20 May 1956 at 74 years of age.⁽¹⁴³⁵⁾ His body was interred in Onancock Cem, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁴³⁶⁾ He married Pamela Adelaide Boggs 10 Dec 1913 in Onley, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁴³⁷⁾ Pamela was born 27 Aug 1893 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹⁴³⁸⁾ Pamela⁽¹⁴³⁹⁾ was the daughter of Edwin Mapp Boggs and Margaret D. 'Maggie' Custis. Pamela died 15 Oct 1980 at 87 years of age.⁽¹⁴⁴⁰⁾ Her body was interred in Onancock Cem, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁴⁴¹⁾
