Rupert T.⁶ Christian (William Seymour⁵, George Seymour⁴, William Armistead³, Catharine² Ker, Edward¹)⁽¹⁶⁵⁵⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA 20 Feb 1861.⁽¹⁶⁵⁶⁾ Rupert died 19 Jan 1896 at 34 years of age.⁽¹⁶⁵⁷⁾ His body was interred in Savage Plot, Red Hill, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁶⁵⁸⁾ His tombstone shows him as Rupert T. Christian, husband of Mary Julia Savage Chistian, who died on 19 Jan 1896 at the age of 34 years, 10 months and 29 days.

He married Mary Julia Savage 29 Nov 1883 in Onancock, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁶⁵⁹⁾ He was shown as Rubert G. Christian, a 22 year old mason, the son of Wm. S. & Sarah Christian and she was shown as Julia Savage, age 21, the daughter of Edw'd G. & Eliz'th Savage. They were married near Onancock by W.C. Vaden.

Mary was born 23 Jul 1860 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹⁶⁶⁰⁾ Mary⁽¹⁶⁶¹⁾ was the daughter of Edward G. Savage and Elizabeth G. Bell. Mary died 19 Jun 1938 in Savage Plot, Red Hill, Acc Co, VA, at 77 years of age.⁽¹⁶⁶²⁾ Her tombstone shows her as Mary Julia Savage Christian, wife of Rupert T. Savage.

Rupert was listed with another family in the cenus of 1880 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹⁶⁶³⁾ He was shown as Rupert Christian, a 19 year old nephew and plasterer in a household headed by Rich'd T. Ames, a 32 year old farmer. Also listed was Julia G. Ames, a 25 year old wife, who was evidently his mother Sarah's half-sister.

He evidently inherited "Locust Grove" plantation through several generations from William A. Christian.⁽¹⁶⁶⁴⁾

Rupert T. Christian and Mary Julia Savage had the following child:

Edward Seymour⁷ Christian⁽¹⁶⁶⁵⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA 1885.⁽¹⁶⁶⁶⁾ Edward died 1956 at 71 years of age.⁽¹⁶⁶⁷⁾ His body was interred in Belle Haven Cem, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁶⁶⁸⁾ His tombstone shows him as E. Seymour Christian, 1885 - 1956. He married Rida Esther Bunting 24 Dec 1907 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹⁶⁶⁹⁾ He was shown as Edward Seymour Christian, a 22 year old farmer, the son of Rupert T. & Mary Julia Christian and she was shown as Rida Esther Bunting, age 19, the duaghter of C. Lamertine & Mary Esther Bunting.

Rida was born 1888 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽¹⁶⁷⁰⁾ Rida⁽¹⁶⁷¹⁾ was the daughter of Cardinal Lambertine Bunting and Mary Esther Bell. Her body was interred in Belle Haven Cem, Acc Co, VA.⁽¹⁶⁷²⁾ Her tombstone shows her as Rida E. Christian, 1888 - ____.
