58. Jane Hall⁴ Deeble (Elizabeth Ker³ Scarburgh, Jean² Ker, Edward¹)⁽⁶⁴⁵⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA 1810.⁽⁶⁴⁶⁾ The 1850 census puts the birth of Mary W. J. Hopkins, age 39, as Accomack Co, VA. Jane died 1891 at 81 years of age.⁽⁶⁴⁷⁾ Her body was interred in St. George Ep Ch Cem, Pungoteague, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁶⁴⁸⁾ Her tombstone shows her as Jane Deeble Hopkins.

She married Ellison Armistead Hopkins 29 Sep 1828 (bond) in Accomack Co, VA.⁽⁶⁴⁹⁾ John Smith (Crad) and James B. Poulson were the securities on the M.L.B. of Ellison A. Hopkins and Jane Hall Deeble.

Ellison was born 1808 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽⁶⁵⁰⁾ Ellison died 1887 at 79 years of age.⁽⁶⁵¹⁾ His body was interred in St. George Ep Ch Cem, Pungoteague, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁶⁵²⁾ His tombstone shows him as Ellison Armistead Hopkins.

Jane was named in her mother's will 11 Sep 1849 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽⁶⁵³⁾ She was shown as a daughter Jane Hopkins, with a son John W.M. Hopkins, in the will of Eliza K. Smith. Her husband Ellison A. Hopkins was one of the executors.

Jane was listed with her husband in the census of 1850 in St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁶⁵⁴⁾ Perhaps it was she who was shown as Mary W. J. Hopkins, age 39 in HH#411 headed by Ellison A. Hopkins, a 41 year old farmer with real estate valued at $2,200. (Note: Jane was alive at this time and would have been about age 40.)

Jane Hall Deeble and Ellison Armistead Hopkins had the following children:

130 i. John W.M.⁵ Hopkins⁽⁶⁵⁵⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA circa 1833.⁽⁶⁵⁶⁾ John was named in his grandmother's will 11 Sep 1849 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽⁶⁵⁷⁾ He was shown as a grandson John W.M. Hopkins, the son of Jane Hopkins, in the will of Eliza K. Smith.

John was listed with his parents in the census of 1850 in St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁶⁵⁸⁾ He was shown as Jno. W.M. Hopkins, age 17 in HH#411 headed by Ellison A. Hopkins, a 41 year old farmer with real estate valued at $2,200.

131 ii. Jane D. Hopkins⁽⁶⁵⁹⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA circa 1837.⁽⁶⁶⁰⁾ Jane was listed with her parents in the census of 1850 in St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁶⁶¹⁾ She was shown as Jane D. Hopkins, age 13 in HH#411 headed by Ellison A. Hopkins, a 41 year old farmer with real estate valued at $2,200.

132 iii. Susan Fanny Hopkins⁽⁶⁶²⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA circa 1841.⁽⁶⁶³⁾ Susan was listed with her parents in the census of 1850 in St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁶⁶⁴⁾ She was shown as Susan F. Hopkins, age 8 in HH#411 headed by Ellison A. Hopkins, a 41 year old farmer with real estate valued at $2,200.
