Snead.

She married Charles Waddy Snead circa 1865.⁽⁸⁶¹⁾ Charles was born 28 Mar 1837 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽⁸⁶²⁾ Charles⁽⁸⁶³⁾ was the son of Charles S. Snead and Rachel Bell Elliott. Charles died 4 Nov 1888 at 51 years of age.⁽⁸⁶⁴⁾ His body was interred in Scott Hall, Onancock, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁸⁶⁵⁾ His tombstone shows him as Charles W. Snead, son of Charles S. & Rachel B. Snead.

Susan was listed with her parents in the census of 1850 in St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁸⁶⁶⁾ She was shown as Susan W. Snead Jr., age 12 in HH#281 headed by Edw'd S. Snead, a 57 year old farmer born in Northampton Co, VA, with real estate valued at $30,665.

Susan was named in her father's will 7 Jul 1852 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽⁸⁶⁷⁾ She was shown as a daughter Susan W. Snead in the will of Edward S. Snead. Along with her brother John Dennis Snead & sisters Margaret K. Snead & Elizabeth D. Snead she was give the plantation & land at Onancock Town called Ker Place and the land bought of William Dix adjoining the same.

Susan was listed with her brother in the census of 1860 in Onancock P.O., St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁸⁶⁸⁾ She was shown as Susan W. Snead, age 21 with personal property valued at $6,000 in HH#591 headed by Dr. John D. Snead, a 29 year old physician. Also listed was Susan U. Snead, age 60, who was her mother.

166 iii. Constance Snead⁽⁸⁷¹⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA 6 Nov 1871. Constance died 2 Jun 1874 at 2 years of age. Her body was interred in Scott Hall, Onancock, Acc Co, VA. Her tombstone shows her as Constance Snead, daughter of Charles W. & Susan U. Snead.
