81. Sally⁴ Ker (Dr. John³, Rev. George², Edward¹)⁽⁷⁹⁴⁾ was born in Northampton Co, VA 13 Jan 1829.⁽⁷⁹⁵⁾ Sally died 18 Oct 1859 at 30 years of age.⁽⁷⁹⁶⁾ 18 Oct 1858 in the Teackle William Jacob family Bible and in the John Ker Sr. family Bible. She died at 6 1/2 o'clock in the morning. Her body was interred in Wellington, N'hamp Co, VA.⁽⁷⁹⁷⁾

She married Edmund W. Bayly 25 May 1847 (bond) in Northampton Co, VA.⁽⁷⁹⁸⁾ Leonard B. Nottingham was the security on the M.L.B. of Edmund W. Bayly and Miss Sally Ker. Wm. J. Bowdoin as to Edmund's age and Leonard B. Nottingham was the guardian of Sally. They were married on 25 May 1847 by J. Ufford.

Edmund was born 6 May 1825 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽⁷⁹⁹⁾ Edmund⁽⁸⁰⁰⁾ was the son of John Hill Bayly and Margaret Skirven Wilson. Edmund died 3 Jan 1881 in Staunton, VA, at 55 years of age.⁽⁸⁰¹⁾

Sally was listed with her husband in the census of 1850 in Northampton Co, VA.⁽⁸⁰²⁾ She was shown as Sally R. (K?) Bayly, age 21 in HH#505 headed by Margarett S. Bayly. She was listed next to Edmund W. Bayly, a 25 year old farm, who was her husband.

Sally Ker and Edmund W. Bayly had the following child:

153 i. Margaret Wilson⁵ Bayly⁽⁸⁰³⁾ was born in Northampton Co, VA 5 Mar 1848.⁽⁸⁰⁴⁾ Margaret died 25 Jun 1848 at less than one year of age.⁽⁸⁰⁵⁾
