Thomas W.⁴ Bayly (Alice³ Scarburgh, Jean² Ker, Edward¹)⁽⁵⁸⁰⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA circa 1817.⁽⁵⁸¹⁾ His Acc Co death record would put his birth at 1818, but the 1850 census put his birth at 1817. Thomas died 30 Dec 1877 in St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA, at 60 years of age.⁽⁵⁸²⁾ He died of heart disease at the age of 59. He was born in Acc Co, but his parents were not listed. He was the husband of Sarah Bayly and his son, Wm. S. Bayly gave the information.

He married Sarah E. (-----) circa 1842.⁽⁵⁸³⁾ Sarah was born circa 1824 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽⁵⁸⁴⁾

Thomas was named in his father's will 31 Mar 1819 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽⁵⁸⁵⁾ Thomas was listed as a head of household in the census of 1850 in St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁵⁸⁶⁾ He was shown as Thos W. Bayly the head of HH#513. He was a 33 year old farmer. Listed with him were Sarah Bayly, age 26; Wm. Bayly, age 7; McKendra, age 3; Phoxarrow Bayly, age 7/12 and Henry Kase, age 11.

On 10 Nov 1857 on the birth record of an unnamed son, Thos. W. Bayly was shown as working in the County Office and living in Acc Co.⁽⁵⁸⁷⁾

Kellam 22 Nov 1871 in Pungoteague, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁵⁹¹⁾ He was a 28 year old farmer, the son of Thomas W. and Sarah E. Bayly and she was also age 28, the daughter of Augustus F. & Mary E. Kellam. They were married by J.E. Humphreys.

Esther was born circa 1843 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽⁵⁹²⁾ Esther⁽⁵⁹³⁾ was the daughter of Augustus J.F. Kellam and Mary E. Goffigon.

William was listed with his parents in the census of 1850 in St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁵⁹⁴⁾ He was shown as Wm. Bayly, age 7 in HH#513 headed by Thos. W. Bayly.

William was listed with his parents in the census of 1860 in St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁵⁹⁵⁾ He was shown as Wm. Bayley, age 16 in HH#1103 headed by Thos. W. Bayley.
