William made his will on 4-Jan-1726 and it was probated on 6-Jun-1727. Phebe, the executrix, was to keep the dwelling and plantation during her widowhood as well as the furniture not bequeathed. The eldest son, Parker Savage, was to have the plantation after Phebe's death or marriage. Parker was also to pay the other son, William, 3000 pounds of tobacco. Phebe French later signed a deed with her son, but neither the date of her second marriage nor the first name of her husband were found.
