34. Dr. Hugh Gordon³ Seymour Sr. (Elizabeth² Ker, Edward¹)⁽⁴¹⁵⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA 22 Sep 1797.⁽⁴¹⁶⁾ Hugh died 30 May 1855 in Accomack Co, VA, at 57 years of age.⁽⁴¹⁷⁾ His body was interred in Seymour-Snead Cem, Onancock, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁴¹⁸⁾

He married Elizabeth J. Fisher 2 Dec 1841 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽⁴¹⁹⁾ Elizabeth J. (Fisher) Custis was a widow when she married Hugh Gordon Seymour.

Elizabeth was born 11 Sep 1797 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽⁴²⁰⁾ Elizabeth⁽⁴²¹⁾ was the daughter of Dr. Fenwick Fisher and Rosannah 'Rosey' (-----). Elizabeth died 1864 at 66 years of age.⁽⁴²²⁾ Her body was interred in Seymour-Snead Cem, Onancock, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁴²³⁾

Hugh was listed as a head of household in the census of 1850 in St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁴²⁴⁾ He was shown as Hugh G. Seymour the head of HH#1111, a 53 year old physican with real estate valued at $20,000. Listed with him was Elizabeth F. Seymour, age 53.

Dr. Hugh Gordon Seymour Sr. and Elizabeth J. Fisher had the following child:

90 i. Hugh Gordon⁴ Seymour Jr.⁽⁴²⁵⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA circa 1842. Hugh died before 1850. He was not in the 1850 census with his parents.
