Deed of Gift to her Children

"July this 28th, 1686. I Anne Garris widow of Northampton
County in Virginia. (Here formally as promised) I give to my
children some cattle, and now intending to (change my
condition?) I do here freely give as a free gift what
heretofore I have promised.
To my dear and ... daughter Martha Garris I do give one cow
and yearling, the cow going by the name of Pritty the Cow and
yearlings and all their increase male and female. I freely give
to my daughter Martha Garris to her and her heirs forever
the cow and yearlings now go...ings at William Pratts in
Nobells Nock. Cropt of each ears holo [hollow?] ... and ...
gilted.
To my eldest and ... son Aron Garris I freely give as a free
gift one cow called Browndy with all her increase male and
female to the aforesaid Aron Garris and his heirs forever.
This cow now g... Plantation where I now live cropt of each
ears holo [hollow?] and v....
Unto my son Amos Garris .... [Poingr? brings?] my dear and ...
son I freely give as a free gift one younger cow called Pyddy
cropt on each ears holo [hollow?] and ... ....Plantation I now live
upon. this aforesaid cow Pyddy & all her increase male and
female. I freely give to my son Amos Garris him and his heirs
forever.
To my dear and loving son Thomas Garris I freely give as a
free gift a red Hissor [?] of two years old Calix. Good luck to
my son Thomas Garris and his ... for .. And all her female
increase. I give Thomas ....cropt on each ears holo [hollow?]
...the Plantation I now live.
Unto my dear and loving son Richard Garris I freely give as a
free gift one black yearslings His for "x" all his female
increase to him and his heirs for ever. The aforesaid his for
[Calix?] .Negro cropt on each ears holo ...
To my dear and loving son Edward Garris I give as a free gift
one red yearling his for called Rysdouh [?] cropt on each ears
holo and ... all her female increase to him and his heirs
forever....
And further, I Ann Garris do oblige to take all care that in
my eyes myself to look as carefully after those cattle as if ...
for my selfs and as I am widow ... allow the condition of my
widowhood and to enter into the state of matrimony David
EVAns and being supported in process of him to do my ... and
wh;ich if God hath so ordained and that if ... David EVAns and
Ann Garris do join together in this holy and lawful estate of
matrimony then I David EVAns do oblige myself to be as
carefull of those cattle in looking after them for the good of
the children above mentioned as if it was for myself and do
oblige myself to ... to each child as they shall attain to lawful
age ... cattle is already made ... ...upon the county record ...
before ... dated as above in the presence of these.
